ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
For your safety and comfort, as well as the safety and comfort of those around you, the following items are not allowed on the grounds, exhibit areas or rodeo arena:

  • Artificial noisemaker

  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses

  • Video cameras, including Go Pro type video cameras

  • Banners and Signs

  • Outside food and drinks

    • Factory sealed water is permitted

  • Cans or glass bottles and personal coolers

  • Pop ups - Hand held umbrellas are allowed on the last row only

  • Pets - service dogs allowed

MEDIA POLICY
The Gilroy Rodeo does not allow for the video recording, transmission, distribution, or selling of any description, account, picture, video, audio or other form or reproduction of the event without permission. Any violation of this policy during a California Cowboys Professional Pro Rodeo Association performance or slack event will result in your immediate removal from the premises.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
A clear bag policy will be in effect for events produced by the Gilroy Rodeo in order to enhance efficiency and security entering the arena at the Gilroy Rodeo Grounds. We have developed our policy to be consistent with industry standards. The policy limits fans to one clear bag per person and one small clutch for personal items. HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

  • Adults: $20 in advance, $25 at the gate

  • Kids under 12: $10 on Friday/Saturday (in advance or at the gate), Free on Sunday

WILL FOOD AND BEVERAGES BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE? 

Yes, a variety of beverages and food will be available. Many will be nonprofits selling food as a fundraiser!

IS ADA/HANDICAP SEATING AVAILABLE?
Yes, handicap seating is available at the Gilroy Rodeo and is designated with handicap placards. You do not need a special ticket for this seating. 


WHAT ARE VIP SEATS? 
VIP seats are sponsor seating by invitation only. These seats are covered and marked appropriately. If seated in these areas without permission, security will ask you to leave. If you're interested in sponsoring the rodeo and earning VIP seating, please check out our sponsor page.


WHAT IS GENERAL SEATING AND HOW ARE SEATS ALLOCATED?
General seating is first come first serve seating!

DO TICKET HOLDERS HAVE IN AND OUT PRIVILEGES? 

Yes! Any ticket holder may enter and exit the rodeo grounds at their will throughout the day indicted on their ticket. 


WILL MY BAG BE SEARCHED? 

Yes, we do search all bags and purses at the rodeo. Any attendee is also subject to search by metal detector. 

 

CAN TICKETS BE REFUNDED OR EXCHANGED?
We do not refund or exchange any tickets.

CAN I ATTEND A PRE-RODEO EVENT? 

All pre-rodeo events are designed for contestants only, spectators should join us for the main events on rodeo weekend!

ARE STROLLERS AND WAGONS ALLOWED? 

Yes, strollers or wagons are allowed. However, they will not be permitted in the stands and Gilroy Rodeo is not liable for lost or stolen items.

IS PARKING FREE?  

Yes, parking is free but we greatly appreciate carpooling and ridesharing when possible - especially on Saturday night.
